Hull Cleaning Services
Standard service includes inspection of hull for growth including fouling, barnacles, algae and other harmful underwater buildup. Entirety of your vessels hull will be scraped, wiped down, and cleaned including before and after pictures for reference paired with waterline cleaning. All underwater components will be attended to in addition to the Hull, including cleaning and inspection of running gear paired with any bow/stern thruster combinations (Thru Hulls and Valve cleanliness). Lastly, examination of anode (zinc) condition will be reported to the owner upon completion of the service.
Zinc Anode Services
During underwater inspection, the integrity and efficiency of you Zinc anodes will be examined and reported if replacement is needed. Zinc anodes are primarily placed underneath your boat along the running gear, hull, and transom. Saltwater is a reactive substance that paired with metal causes damaging corrosion by reacting to the metal of your boat. ZInc Anodes are used to protect the other essential metals that can be damaged by the harsh corrosion and rust in the water . These important combative metals fight this by decaying overtime in a sacrificial manner by honing the damage that the saltwater causes. The levels of your Anodes will be monitored and replaced upon your immediate request. Maintaining replacements of these metals can guarantee the longevity and integrity of your boat.
